Steve DT was born 1961 in York, UK - and enlightened during the 1980s
Former music fotographer, and was once labelled - ‘One of the major UK Gothic music photographers of the 80's’. Many fine examples of the early works have been re-sited at Steve Drury Music Photography (formerly at Geocities.com). Photos include rare shots of Bauhaus, Alien Sex Fiend, Sonic Youth, The Wolfhounds, Party Day and . . . the pre-signing days of Def Leppard.
1991: A major contributor to Mick Mercer’s book ‘Gothic Rock: All you ever wanted to know . . . but were too gormless to ask’ [cover], and the sleeve photography (Andi Sex Gang) for the accompanying Double album.
1998: First London Exhibition: So you want to be a Tourist? [poster] at St James Church of Piccadilly.

- Launch of Cafepress.com/sdtfoto, beginning with the Bare Essential merchandise range featuring the photogrpahy of Steve DT on sensible everyday items. Initially this was to coincide with The Nude Laid Bare exhibition.
- Launch of ¡Ay Caramba! Newsletter. A new venture to keep everyone up to date, beginning with the summer issue. The first issue contains my latest interview, for the
e-journal Ayup.co.uk.
