In Parties

Adult sex parties are a place where exhibitionism and voyeurism are in full swing. In an air of anticipation and excitement, the joy and passion rises. Steve DT recorded the events as they unfolded at a masked adult party. This event was organised for the shoot with the kind permission of the hostess, and was the only planned moment, and the guests and women soon forgot about my presence.

A Muse

Muses create and inspire work, so it seems only natural that photographers (in this instance) should have their own muse to photograph. However, a muse can’t be ’made to order’ or advertised for, but certain things do have to happen; a connection and mutal respect are just two of the necessary values.

Since our first shoot together, she has inspired me to photograph her on many occassions. Recently our work was included within the Mammoth Book of Erotic Photography Vol. 4 and for numerous issues and cover pages for Jade Magazine.

Exhibitions

Here you will find reports and photography from several of the exhitions that Steve DT has been involved with; for example, the solo exhibitions of Titillate in Atlanta, USA (2003) and Fetichegrams in Brighton, UK (2005).

Recently Steve DT took part in exhibitions in London (as part of the Guild of Erotic Artists’ Group show) ’Return to Temptation’ (2014), and in the USA as part of Detroit's Dirty Show 16 -17 (2015-6) and Seattle's SEAF 2015 -16.

Guest Artists

Welcome to this space, which is set aside for erotic artists, be they old, new, well-known or obscure.

The criteria for being a Guest Artist is simply that the artist is either admired or has inspired Steve DT. These photographers have all created remarkable images, and it was my intention to celebrate this. Each photographer has a page containing several of their creations and a brief biography.

Photographers included are: Antoine D'Agata, whose work is a personal photographic record of his life and the people he comes into contact with. Laurent Benaim prefers to create erotica in the darkroom, by soaking his negatives in all kinds of chemicals. Luis Durante and his gorgeous muse, Idoia. Ivana Ford, an experimental photographer who combines sexual energy and atmosphere. Marc Goldstein and his fascinating 'Red Chair' project. James M Graham, who produces portraits and narrative imagery with an erotic feel. Rikki Kasso a multi talented artist who works across several medias. Pierre Molinier’s unique style of montaged self-portraiture. Barbara Nitke's behind the scenes images from the adult film world. RJ Newton, an exciting fetish and erotica artist based in Atlanta. Photognome, Atlanta’s extraordinary and playful visual recorder. Will Santillo seeks to expand beyond the limits of heterosexual erotic sensibilities. Tsubasa and his digital art of bizarre robotic/ synthetic women which creates pure erotic fantasy.
