Some words about me

“Part of the inspiration for my photography derives from the sex industry and its many facets, the rest is intuitive. I believe my work is about enjoying the unspoken, praising the body and recognising its social context.”
Steve DT creates his social erotic photography, such as; ‘Fetichegrams’ (the abstract imagery of sex toys), ‘Call Me’ (tart cards in telephone boxes), ‘In Parties’ (adult parties), ‘Sirens’ (the allure that can wreck havoc) and ‘Strip!’ (the eternal joy of the expectation) amongst other projects.
In 2004 Steve DT became a member of the Guild of Erotic Artists (The Guild was created to promote and market like minded individuals; artists, photographers, sculptors, bodycasters, writers, models, retail, and anyone who is interested in erotic and sensual art).
As an online author, Steve DT has written numerous articles on the practicalities and sensibilities of creating erotic photography with its pitfalls and successes, alongwith delving into the early days of erotic art nude photography from both male and female photographers. In 2015 he published his 50th online article.
In 2014 Steve DT was awarded the Jade Magazine Erotic Artist of the Year Runner Up, thanks to its voting readership. And in the August 2016 issue of Jade, Steve DT achieved the accolade of Image of the Month. It was a sad day in 2017 when Jade ceased publication

In 2016 Steve DT launched www.sdt-photo.eu (currently moth-balled). This site displayed a general cross section of Steve DT's photography and included music, bullfighting, dance and mannequins.
To date, Steve DT continues to publish numerous erotic images within books and magazines, as well as producing a selection of self-published works. Also he continues to exhibit his social erotica photography in the UK and internationally. In addition, has been a member of the Purple Port and Adult Folio sites since 2019.
