April 2004 and I'm back in Atlanta plying my wares. This time as part of the Multimedia event Cyberotika 2004 at the Dojo Yakko Gallery. Gathered here was a large collection of photographers displaying their fotos, and all headed by the inspirational Tsubasa and Laurence Gartel. Photographers to watch out for; Timothy Dolph, Carah Kristel, Reece Newton - all excellent. The gallery is an excellent exhibition / performance space and on the first night, there was an attendance of some 500 people. The fashion performances were introduced by Persephone, and images from the evening including the wonderful designs from the House of Harlot can be seen in my Performance (room 3b) gallery section.I was here to present my series Fetichegrams - their first major showing . . . and more specifically - 'Series 2', which is styled differently to the 'Series 1'. The fotos (surreal abstract images of sex toys in imaginary surroundings) provided a lot of interest from the crowd throughout the night, with discussions ranging from their abstract values to guessing the toy! It was all such fun. After the exhibition, all were re-hung at the Luckie Street Collective Gallery in Atlanta, where the show continued for the next month .Now go to the Fetichegram Section of www.sdtfoto.com, for further information and imagery from Series 1.Click on the fotos below, to view a larger image from the Event.
